to honor outstanding communications professionals, faculty,
and students for their accomplishments. Some of our

Foundation Award
The Foundation Award was established in
1994 to honor outstanding communications professionals
for their accomplishments within the given year.
Recipients
have included David Letterman, Diane Sawyer, David
E. Kelley, Howard Stringer, Leo Hindery, Katie Couric,
L. Lowry Mays, and Charlie Rose.

Gold Medal Award
The Gold Medal Award is one of the industry's highest
honors. Established in 1960, it is presented annually
for significant career-long contributions to the integrity,
health, and success of the electronic media industry.

Stanton Fellow Award
The International Radio & Television
Society Foundation's Stanton Fellow Award
was created to acknowledge the heroes of academia
by publicly applauding their important contributions
to electronic media education. The award is presented
annually to an outstanding individual during the IRTS
Faculty/Industry Seminar.
