One of Industry's Highest Honors
NEW YORK, NY—February 9, 2005--The
International Radio and Television Society
Foundation is pleased
to announce that its 2005
Gold Medal Dinner will
celebrate the coming of age of the modern communications
media agency. Awards at this black tie gala,
which will take place on Thursday
May 12th at
the Waldorf=Astoria, will be presented to:
Established in 1960, the award is presented
each year for significant career-long contributions
to the integrity, health, and success of the
media and entertainment industry. Former IRTS
Gold Medal recipients include Lucille Ball,
Walter Cronkite, Michael Eisner, Bob Hope,
Mel Karmazin,
Leslie Moonves, Rupert Murdoch, Oprah Winfrey,
and Bob Wright.

Tables to this fundraiser are priced at $25,000,
$17,500 and $12,500, and individual tickets
are available at $1,250. The 2005 Gold Medal
Dinner is being co-chaired by Jeff Bewkes of
Time Warner, Peter Chernin of News Corp, Tom
Freston and Leslie Moonves of Viacom, Anne Sweeney
of Walt Disney Company, and Bob Wright of NBC
Universal.
